Eyebrows, where to position the arch?
So recently I’ve become a little confused on where exactly the arch should occur when it comes to your eyebrows. Part of this confusion was brought on by many different websites and videos claiming different things e.g. the arch should be positioned down the side of the pupil, near the edge of the iris, straight down the iris.
Considering the fact that I have took the time to grow out my eyebrows I would defiantly appreciate some guidance when it comes to this aspect of shaping eyebrows.
(Before you do answer I am referring to the ‘pencil’ guide, which is where you position a pencil or make up brush to the side of your nose to determine where your eyebrow starts and stops.)
Thanks!
I can honestly say the best thing to do is follow your natural arch. Over the years I can’t tell you how many times I’ve changed the shape of my brows. I’ve arched it right in the center, I’ve arched it closer to the outer edge, I’ve done mcdonalds arches with em, I’ve flattened them out so there was no arch at all. Everything you could possible think of, I’ve done to my brows. And after all that I find the only thing that really looks good on me is sticking to their natural shape and grooming around it.
The reason there are so many different rules is because everyone’s face shape is different. What looks good on you may not look good on me. Someone may look amazing with a center arch, others may not. There is really no real “rule” that you absolutely must follow. Just stick to what ever works for you.
