Calculate the thickness of fully welded blank flange for pipe subjected to internal pressure?
ID = 1600mm, Thk shell = 32mm, Steel Grade = BS EN 10025 S355,
Internal Pressure = 150 bars. What is the thickness for blank flange/end cap with two nos of 38mm opening at the end cap ? How to calculate ?
I mean i have a pipe of ID = 1600mm, pipe thickness = 32mm, what is the thickness of blank flanges if the blank flanges at both end got to withstand working pressure of 160 bar. On the blank flange, two nos of 38mm dia. holes would be drilled for fixing hoses to release oil inside.
You description is a bit confusing is the plate for a 1600mm opening, a 38 mm opening or a 76 mm opening?

I am curious why you are not using a weld cap rated for the pressure? It seems to be a pretty small opening
